A Family Affair
Nick Spencer-Chapman is the latest contributor to fundraising and voluntary support for HIPZ from the families of Dr Mike Spencer-Chapman, our volunteer doctor at Kivunge Hospital and Caitlin Farrow, our Project Manager in Zanzibar. Nick, who is Mike’s father, is to undertake a cycle ride around Oxfordshire on the 19th May, so all donations would be most welcome. £2,000 raised so far!!

During my time in Zanzibar I have seen some fascinating medical cases. Sometimes we see conditions that simply no longer exist in the UK, or indeed never did. A lot of the time we see people who have lived with their condition without going to a doctor for a long time. This means we see conditions that have progressed further than we would see in the UK.
