Rotaract Africa Summit

November 25, 2018

Our HIPZ Programme Coordinator, Jabir (pictured), had the great honour of being invited by our good friends at the Rotary Club of Zanzibar to speak at the Rotaract Africa Summit this week.

Jabir said, "As an aspiring Rotarian, It was a great day for me and I felt profoundly honored and really privileged to speak to my fellow young Africans (the Rotaractors).

"On behalf of HIPZ and as a Programme Coordinator who has, and is currently, implementing the various Rotary grants I really really cherish and value the existing collaboration between Rotary and HIPZ which has made it possible to deliver better healthcare service to more than a third of the Zanzibari population.

"I also do recognize with much respect the role of HIPZ in moulding and grooming me into who I am today, they unveiled the passion in me, and more importantly Pam who has been a great source of my inspiration and encouragement and indeed offering me the space to showcase my abilities and potentials unlimitedly.

"And as for Ru our chair, you are a blessing to Zanzibar People and a gem!!

"I thank you for the continued support and as a direct beneficiary of the Rotary Grant I'm truly privileged and thankful."
